Altogether 80 "Pinzgauer" cattle and calves, 20 of which are milk cows, 10 pigs (only in the summer), our goat Loisi with her kids, 20 chickens, 4 rabbits, our Noriker horse Simone, cats and our dog Tina play on our farm. The milk cows and milk calves stay on our fam during the whole summer. The young cattle spend the summer months on the high Alpine pastures. We organize a visit to the mountain hut once a week. Lush green meadows and alpine pasturelands provide plenty of fresh food. Our rabbits Flecki and Punkti look forward to being your pets and they look forward to feeding on fresh dandelions. At least once a week (or as desired), we offer horse riding for children with a professional guide (farmer Hermann) on our well behaved horse Simone. Good riders can go riding on our network of paths at all times! During the summer, the cows come to the stable at around 5.00 pm for milking and feeding; the farmers like it when people help, bring hay to the stables (for goats, rabbits, cows and Simone the horse) or feed the calves... On arrival, there will be a tour of the farm and stables with a lot of opportunities to get to know people and animals.
Our tip at 8.00 am: Fresh eggs every morning... Young guests can enjoy a tour of the hen stable together with the farmer's wife, and collect the freshly laid eggs for breakfast. What a wonderful experience!
