Celá zahradní plocha je obehnána typickým “Pinzga plotem”: Jedná se o chlupaté (= štípané) modřínové dřevo v 5 různých délkách, které je do sebe velmi složitě zasazeno velmi těsně a nepotřebuje proto hřebíky atd. držet.
V minulosti byly všechny ploty, dokonce i vysokohorské pastviny, ohraničeny tímto pracným plotem. Tomuto řemeslu v dnešní době bohužel málokdo rozumí. Dnes jsme tímto krásným plotem ohradili zahradní areál Schloss Saalhof.
