Cały obszar ogrodu jest otoczony typowym „ogrodzeniem Pinzga”: Jest to rozdrobnione (= rozłupane) drewno modrzewiowe o 5 różnych długościach, które jest włożone w siebie bardzo ciasno w bardzo skomplikowany sposób i dlatego trzyma się bez gwoździ itp.
Dawniej wszystkie ogrodzenia, nawet pastwiska alpejskie, graniczyły z tym pracochłonnym ogrodzeniem. Niestety obecnie mało kto rozumie to rzemiosło. Dzisiaj ogrodziliśmy teren ogrodu Schloss Saalhof tym pięknym płotem.
