The so-called ” Hiata ” (= shepherd) used to have a responsible job on the farm, pasture and field; here he had his sleeping quarters.

A highlight of this apartment are the original, designed lamps made of birch trunks in the kitchen. Enjoy beautiful views of the grassy mountains, the Steinernes Meer, and the Schloss.

A material mix of old wood (original blackened ceilings and walls), hand-made light furniture from our birch forest, stone washbasins in the bathrooms, and glass (as a skylight in the bathrooms) nowadays ensures cosiness, a special ambience and still modern comfort:
