Yes, after an active day in the mountains, you can relax here with us. Our sauna—either the Moarsauna in the Moarhaus or the Castle Sauna—is available exclusively for two hours per family each day until 10:00 p.m. by advance reservation, and offers soothing relaxation after hiking, skiing, or a long day on the farm. Here’s how to combine a farm vacation with little moments of relaxation. If the entire Moarhaus chalet has been booked, the Moarsauna is available for your exclusive use and can be turned on and off at any time. Packages that include a bathrobe and a sauna towel can be rented for a fee during your stay. There is a selection of different sauna oils available for infusions. A massage therapist is available on Thursdays and Fridays by appointment. The wellness area is available exclusively to our hotel guests.

Yes, children may use the wellness area, including the sauna, when accompanied by their parents.

Yes, our cozy barbecue hut is perfect for social evenings. It’s especially nice when it’s cooler out, or when it’s raining or snowing, when you sit together, grill, and wind down the day. For families, grilling bread on a stick is also a special experience. We’re happy to prepare the bread-on-a-stick dough once per stay upon advance request. We’ll heat up the barbecue hut upon reservation. The outdoor grill (Weber kettle grill) can be used at any time. We are happy to provide our sustainable corn charcoal free of charge. Use of the barbecue hut is restricted to hotel guests at all times.
