In the cycling village of Maishofen there are level, low-traffic cycle routes in the local area that are particularly suitable for families with children.
Cycling in the inner mountains does not just mean mountain biking, but above all leisurely cycling for the whole family. Explore the sights and attractions of the region by bike instead of overlooking them by car.
Tours lead to the neighboring towns of Saalfelden, Zell am See or Maria Alm, to the Ritzensee – past Schloss Kammer and Schloss Ritzen – or to the summer toboggan run.
For cycling enthusiasts, the“Tauernradweg” and other long-distance routes lead directly through the village. Experts test the mountain routes on mountain bikes.
All routes are well signposted and have rest areas. Bike maps provide information about all destinations and routes and are available from the Tourist Office.
