Downhill on glowing skids until late at night

When children are longingly waiting for the first snowfall to take a sleigh ride, adults also like to remember the fun descents of the past. In Zell am See-Kaprun you simply turn the wheel of time back a bit: while the children race down the lanes during the day, you can enjoy the region at night on an adventurous moonlight descent. As a couple or alone – it’s entirely up to you.

Many toboggan runs are illuminated so that you can still find your way down safely after dusk. A descent in the headlights is possible on some tracks until shortly before midnight. You can easily get to the place of work – on foot or by bus. With the Zell moonlight toboggan bus, you can even go up the slope after dinner.

Some toboggan runs between Kitzsteinhorn and Schmittenhöhe even turn the chronology of winter fun upside down. The motto: ‘Après sport before departure’. But if, after a glass or two, you fear that you won’t be able to get down to the valley on your own, there is a worry-free alternative – you’ll be chauffeured back down the mountain in a ‘toboggan taxi’.
